About

I’m Tobias Calmeijer Meijburg, born and raised in Amsterdam, with a lifelong fascination for materials, buildings, and the crafted environment. I studied Interior Design at the Jan des Bouvrie College and later the Built Environment, completing a minor in Sustainable Futures, which shaped my approach to thoughtful, responsible design.

During my studies, I gained experience through internships at Architectenbureau Heyligers, working on large-scale architectural projects; Tom Postma Design, known for international art fairs such as Art Basel; and Neef Louis, creating custom furniture from reclaimed industrial materials.

I currently work at Keek Architectenatelier while pursuing independent projects, focusing on spaces that balance concept, materiality, and sustainability, precise, atmospheric, and carefully composed.
